Highlands Community Groups

Studying God’s Word in Fellowship

WHAT ARE COMMUNITY GROUPS?

Jesus never said for us to go and make church, but He did say, “Go, and make disciples!” At Highlands, Community Groups are our way of growing in knowledge of His Word, gathering in fellowship, and reaching out to our community and declaring the finished work of Christ. These groups are the very fabric of what makes big church feel like a close family. Community Groups meet in different locations across our county. Participants are welcome throughout the year.

Unveiling Scriptural Truths

When: 2 pm Saturdays, Ongoing

Facilitator: Jeremiah Knight

Do you have deep questions about the Bible? Areas you’d like to dig into more fully, and be able to back up with Scripture?
In the Berean-style of study, this group welcomes diversity of thought and promotes open-minded and enthusiastic inquiry into biblical text, in the context of ancient civilizations and cultural faith frameworks.

All participants will be encouraged to approach discussions with an open mind and humility. Together we will explore fresh perspectives to enhance our relationship with Christ and deepen our understanding of the Scriptures.

These discussions will enhance our collective understanding, and undergird our faith in Christ. Using study tools and the Bible, the shared goal is to grow together in our spiritual journey with Christ and a deeper understanding of the living Word of God.
