SAVE THE DATE, Aug. 23, CHURCH at the FAIR: Make plans to join us as we worship the King together with our beautiful community! All HCOTC Wed. activities in-house will be canceled and we will be meeting at the Fentress Co. Fairgrounds at 6pm on Wed., Aug. 23rd.
OCC (Operation Christmas Child): It’s back to school time! We need glue sticks, erasers, pencil bags, pencil boxes, or any other school supplies. We don’tneed pencils or pens. We have plenty at this time. We want to thank all who donate each year!
HK CHRISTMAS BAZAAR, DEC. 2ND: This bazaar is an HK fundraiser event to showcase all your baked goods, crafts, quilts, or any other handmade items. We have two options for table rentals, $30 for a small square table (3ftx3ft) or $55 for two of the tables. Money is due by November 19th. A sign-up sheet will be in the foyer on August 6th. Please contact Kim, 931-704-4544, with questions.
HIGHLANDERS STUDENTS (ages 13-19): We meet each Wed., immediately after worship/announcement in HK3 classroom.
COMMUNITY GROUPS: Visit our Community Group page for more info! Also, see a full display of all new and ongoing community groups in our foyer. You won’t want to miss signing up for one or more of these amazing groups.
WORSHIP/WORD: Sunday Worship begins at 10:00 a.m. The cafe will be open at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday. Wednesday worship starts at 6:00 p.m. Dinner every Wed at 5 pm.
*TIME OF PRAYER: Join us for prayer in the sanctuary Wednesdays, from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sundays, from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Please respect individuals’ quiet prayer time and reserve conversations for outside the sanctuary.
PLAYGROUND: It’s that time of year again. Please make sure when playing on the Highlands playground you always have an adult present. Enjoy!
HIGHLANDS KIDS’ UPDATE & NEEDS: Our desire is to have HK1 & HK2 open every Sunday…and if/when possible, on Wednesdays as well. To make this happen, we need HK1 & HK2 Sunday morning LEAD teachers. For Wednesdays, we need HK1 lead teachers AND helpers. Please fill-out volunteer paperwork at the HK desk. See Pastor Ami with questions. And a huge “THANK YOU” to the many that serve!
