If you have a heart to help those in need, join us at the Warming Facility this week! If you like to cook meals, clean, help at the welcome desk, or simply mentor others, there is a place for you! Tell us a little bit about your background and interests at the link below. We need help from 4 pm to 8 am, in 2 hour shifts THIS WEEK during this cold snap.
PLEASE SHARE to get the word out! The overnight warming facility at First Baptist Family Life Center, 306 East Central Ave, will open at 4:30pm starting Sunday, February 16th for anyone who is in need of shelter or warmth during the upcoming cold temperatures. Those needing this facility are asked to arrive by 6pm for dinner and by 10pm for late check-in. But again, doors are open at 4:30 pm to provide a safe, warm, and welcoming space for those who are unsheltered or unable to get warm.
