Thank you to everyone who participated in the Rotary Club Christmas Parade! This year we had two floats; Highlands had a float titled “From the Manger to the Cross,” and the Creation Station had one titled “Dino-Night Before Christmas,” which won second place.
Basket Weaving Class. Larissa’s basket weaving class is scheduled for Thursday, December 12th, at 4 pm. This is part two of the basket weaving class, so if you were in attendance at the last class and have not finished your basket, be sure to be in attendance! This class will be held here at the Church!
Highlands Christmas Party! On Wednesday, December 18th, we will celebrate the Christmas season with an evening of food, fellowship, and games. Stay tuned for more info. Families will eat together in the Cafe at 6:00, and then our Highland’s Kids will enjoy their festivities in HK2 at 6:30.
Highland’s Christmas Service will be on Sunday, December 22nd. Make plans to attend, as you do not want to miss this special service!
HK Bazaar Miter Saw “Waffle” – The drawing for the Miter Saw “Waffle” will take place after service this Sunday, December 15th! You can still purchase tickets at the HK Info Desk.
Baptism- Are you interested in being baptized? Sign up at the Highlands Info Table. Once we have quite a few signed up, we will host a baptism here at Highlands!

We’re growing and need faithful volunteers in every department! Join us in serving our Heavenly Father and His people! We hope to have enough volunteers so that each of us only has to serve once a month.

Chrysalis, an Emmaus experience for teens ages 15-24, is scheduled for January 2-4, 2025, at the Crossville First Methodist Church. The perfect Christmas gift! Highlands Church of the Cumberlands Cookbook – Feeding the Flock is available for $10 at the HK Desk. The cookbook has nearly 200 recipes from our Highlands cooks. All funds benefit Highlands Kids!
Save the date! The Highlands Kids Lunch and Training Day is Sunday, January 26th, after service. Training is for those signed up and serving in HK. If you would like to serve, please be sure to return your application!

HIGHLANDERS STUDENTS (ages 13 through 12th grade): On Wednesdays, the youth meet immediately after worship in the HK3 classroom.
HIGHLANDS KIDS CHURCH (12 years and under): Children’s Church is available on Sundays & Wednesdays. Children are dismissed from the sanctuary after Worship. Please ensure your child/children are with you when they’re not in class. Thank you!
