SERVICES/COMMUNITY GROUPS:

SUNDAYS

10:00 AM Worship & Word (Join us for a time of worship & dynamic, biblically based sermon.)

9:00 AM Breakfast in the cafe (Everyone welcome; donations appreciated!)

8:30 AM Prayer in Sanctuary (This is a time of quiet, private prayer, and we ask that any conversations be taken outside the sanctuary during this time.)

WEDNESDAYS

6:00 PM Worship & Word (Join us for a time of worship & dynamic, biblically based sermon.)

5:00 PM Dinner in the cafe (Everyone welcome; donations appreciated!)

4:30 PM Prayer in Sanctuary (Everyone welcome!)

HIGHLANDERS STUDENTS (ages 13 through 12th grade): We meet immediately after worship in the HK3 classroom on Wednesdays.

HIGHLANDS KIDS CHURCH (12 years and under): Children’s Church is available on Sundays & Wednesdays. Children are dismissed from the sanctuary after Worship.

COMMUNITY GROUPS:  We have many different Community Groups within Highlands that meet on a weekly/monthly basis. We’d love it if you’d join one or host one! Please talk with Diana Douglass and visit https://www.highlandschurchtn.org/community-groups/ for more information! 

HAPPENINGS:

DAILY PORTION MEETING:  Daily Portion is our community-focused food and ministry outreach. ALWAYS CHECK THE CHURCH APP FOR UPDATES.

     

      • Saturday, April 6th, is our outreach, Food, Love, & Prayer on the Square! Rain date is April 13th.

    HOLY WEEK: Holy Week is March 25-29 

    Wednesday, March 27th:  

    *Highlands Worship & Pastor Jason speaking at Noon at Jamestown Methodist Church (Next to Pizza Hut) 102 E Church St. Jamestown, TN **Highlands will be serving lunch. We need help with food; please sign up in the foyer! 

    *Movie Night @ Highlands! The passion of the Christ 6PM! Bring your friends!

    CUMBERLAND G.A.P. (God Answers Prayer): Our teens will be participating in 

    community service projects throughout our county, June 23rd – June 28th. Please let Larissa or Marcia know if you would like to sponsor a teen ($75 each) or participate as an adult team leader. 

    PLAYGROUND: It’s that time of year again. Please make sure when playing on the Highlands’ playground you ALWAYS have an adult present. Enjoy!

    HIGHLANDS SHIRTS: MARCH MADNESS! $10 A SHIRT!!! 
    Don’t forget to grab one or more of those awesome Highlands shirts (we have long & short-sleeved!)! All proceeds go to pay off our church building! 

    HANDS, FEET, AND HEARTS NEEDED: 

    SIGN UP TO SERVE:  We currently have several ways for you to get involved at Highlands. There are sign-up sheets on the information table for the following areas:  Parking Crew; Greeters; and Cafe. The fellowship is absolutely beautiful! 

    HK TEAM OPPORTUNITIES: We need HK teachers! You’ll find applications/signups at the HK welcome desk.

    HOSPITALITY: We need loving chefs to cook/serve as needs arise. 

       

        • Our Highlands family will be providing a meal for Shelia Walker’s memorial service. If you can help, there will be a sign-up sheet in the foyer. The service will be March 24th at 2 pm here at Highlands, following Sunday’s service. Thank you!

        • Please watch for announcements for future hospitality/meal train links as needs within our body arise.
