HIGHLANDERS STUDENTS (ages 13 through 12th grade): We meet immediately after worship in the HK3 classroom on Wednesdays.
HIGHLANDS KIDS CHURCH (12 years and under): Children’s Church is available on Sundays & Wednesdays. Children are dismissed from the sanctuary after Worship.
COMMUNITY GROUPS: We have many different Community Groups within Highlands that meet on a weekly/monthly basis. We’d love it if you’d join one or host one! Please talk with Diana Douglass and visit www.highlandschurchtn.org for more information!
GRIEF SHARE:
- This is a wonderful support group to help you move through the loss and grief process. Griefshare will start on March 14th, meeting at 6 pm every Thursday night afterward for a total of 13 weeks. Call 931-879-6177 or visit Highlands Community Groups
IMMEDIATE HAPPENINGS:
CHILI COOK-OFF luncheon: *THIS Sunday, March 3rd, Chili Cook-Off luncheon after church! Please plan to stay and eat! ONLY $5! Some of our best chefs are bringing their BEST! All proceeds go toward the church payoff. If you have questions, see Viki or Tricia.
DAILY PORTION MEETING: Daily Portion is our community-focused food and ministry outreach. ALWAYS CHECK THE CHURCH APP FOR UPDATES.
- *THIS Wednesday, Feb. 28th, please remain for a brief DP planning meeting.
- *NEXT Wednesday, March 6th, please come at 5 pm for Narcan training.
- Saturday, April 6th, is our outreach, Food, Love, & Prayer on the Square! Rain date is April 13th.

BAZAAR PLANNING: If you’d like to help with our HK Bazaar, please plan to stay after church, on Wed., March 13th. See Kim Gove with questions.
CUMBERLAND G.A.P. (God Answers Prayer): Our teens will be participating in community service projects throughout our county, June 23rd – June 28th. Please let Larissa or Marcia know if you would like to sponsor a teen ($75 each) or participate as an adult team leader.
HIGHLANDS SHIRTS: Don’t forget to grab one or more of those awesome Highlands shirts (we have long & short-sleeved!)! All proceeds go to pay off our church building! We are ready to move forward with some massive outreach plans. Let’s knock this out together!
HANDS, FEET, AND HEARTS NEEDED:
SIGN UP TO SERVE: We currently have several ways for you to get involved at Highlands. There are sign-up sheets on the information table for the following areas: Parking crew; Greeters; and Cafe. The fellowship is absolutely beautiful!
HK TEAM OPPORTUNITIES: We need HK3 lead teachers and substitute teachers. You’ll find applications/signups at the HK welcome desk.
HOSPITALITY: We need some loving chefs to cook/serve as needs arise. Please sign up at our info table if you are able to help.
- We have a NEW avenue for meeting upcoming hospitality needs. Please visit this meal train link to bless the Schmucker family, as they’re expecting a baby SOON! Watch for announcements for future hospitality/meal train links as needs within our body arise.
CHURCH GROUNDS UPKEEP: We would love to hire someone inhouse to care for our church grounds. If you could handle the mowing, trimming, and manicure of our lawn, please reach out to Marcia at 931-879-6177 or highlandscotc@gmail.com.
