G.A.P. MEETING SUNDAY: If you are an adult involved with GAP, a student, or the parent of a student involved, please stay for a brief GAP info meeting this Sunday, June 18th, after service.
CUMBERLAND G.A.P. UPDATES (God Answers Prayer): Please PRAY over this special week of service and fellowship, over ALL workers, and homeowners.
WAYS to SERVE:
- Adult volunteers are needed to work at the job sites (people’s homes).*
- Donations of food, drinks, and snacks are needed (lots of bottled waters, teas, electrolyte drinks, fruit, pretzels, homemade snacks, granola bars, snack mixes, cookies, etc). Food/drink donations may be brought to HCOTC June 4th through June 23rd (please mark them “GAP”).
- Volunteers needed to make sandwiches (contact Elaine Seymour, 931-510-3880).*
- Volunteers needed to deliver lunches to workers at worksites Mon-Fri (this includes taking lunch for homeowners, visiting with them, praying over lunch, etc).*

PLAYGROUND: It’s that time of year again. Please make sure when playing on the Highlands playground you always have an adult present. Enjoy!
HK NEEDS YOU!: Church, we have a wonderful, loyal team serving in Highlands Kids (and we’re so thankful!), but we still have a massive need for more to come onboard. Our church has grown substantially, and we’re blessed with so many new children to love and minister to…that’s why we need YOU! You’ll find applications/signups at the HK welcome desk!

Joseph Hubbard is a paleobiologist, archaeologist, naturalist, creation researcher, animal keeper, and book enthusiast. He is completing degrees in Natural Science, Archaeology, and Zoology. He has over 13 years experience in the field of paleontology and nature work, and 4 years experience in the animal care industry. Since 2014, he has worked with Creation Research and the UK branch, performing research, talks, presentations, and leading field trips.
RIVER BAPTISM AND PICNIC: JULY 23rd, Don’t miss your opportunity to be baptized in the beautiful Wolf River. ( this is a once a year event) Sign-up now in the foyer. Bring a side dish or dessert to share. John Wheeler will be cooking his famous barbecue!
GREETERS: We want to add some new faces/hearts/hands. If you love to smile, say a kind word, WE need you! There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer. Thank you!
OCC (Operation Christmas Child): We sure could use some first aid kits, and sewing kits(make your own or purchase) Also small tool sets for the boys. We want to thank all who donate each year!
HIGHLANDERS MEN’S GROUP: The next Men’s group is TBD. We will keep you posted.
HIGHLANDERS STUDENTS: We meet each Wed., immediately after worship/announcements, in the cafe. Spread the word! This is for ages 13 through 19.
